LOUISE MCALISTER
Louise McAlister heads up Human Resources consulting at
Perfect Clarity. She co-founded the company, following a successful Human
Resources career in industry. Louise’s objective is to provide organisations
with immediate access to expert Human Resources advice and support.
Louise has worked in a wide range of management roles for companies including
British Gas, Rank Xerox and Booker Foodservice, where she was the Director of
Human Resources.
Louise has experience in all of the main Human Resources fields including
employee relations, recruitment, remuneration and management development. She
has particular experience of supporting businesses through redundancy and
restructuring exercises. Louise is used to handling employee relations within
unionised environments, including consultation and negotiation processes. With
extensive practical employment law knowledge, she has also supported
organisations in implementing changes driven by employment legislation.
Louise has worked within a specialised recruitment role and has managed
technical, graduate, professional and management recruitment campaigns at all
organisational levels. She is a fully qualified occupational tester and has been
trained with Saville and Holdsworth to conduct psychometric tests for use in
recruitment and employee development. Louise’s career also involved her working
in the Netherlands for a year and she is familiar with the management of
international assignments.
Louise has a postgraduate diploma in Personnel Management. She also has a Master
of Business Administration (MBA) Degree from the University of Aston.
